Hey All Interested Fly Tiers;
My local shop has a free fly tying club every Tuesday night starting at 6pm.Just stop in, bring some tools & materials or just sit, have a cup of coffee & shoot the bull for a while.

Sounds great.......wish i had known sooner. We've been at our Roscoe, N.Y. house off and on since very late March........but as it is.....we're headed back to our other place in Arkansas this weekend. ..........OOPPSS, i just noticed the date(s) on this thread are 2007.....oh well.......if your ever in the Ozarks, we have a fly tying club in the Mt. Home, Arkansas area called the Swallows Nest Fly Tyers........also VERY informal. Meetings every Wed. eve.....just gimme a shout. Website is below.....

Ron, if that was meant for me...........the next meeting will be on the 28th of July. 6 p.m. & you MUST call ahead..... 870-575-2279 If we'll be home.....no problem. i know that sounds funny.....maybe.....but when i say "the next meeting" that is all predicated on wether or not anyone has called to make it. We travel constantly..........so the regulars know.......if you don't call ahead, don't bother........most likely the gate will be closed. "The call" is mostly just to find out if we'll be home.....and to reserve a spot. Easy, mark p.s. you don't need a vise, tools, materials or hooks........i have enough of everything, for everybody ..............
